Where Does One Begin - Sharon (Zollinger) Smith

Where do I begin to express the saddness of this loss for Dave's friends and family...
Where do I begin to express the saddness of this loss for Dave's friends and family. Although Dave and I had lost touch over the years (touched bases a couple years ago by e-mail) he was such an important part of my life from my not quite teens to mid twenties or so. He was such a great friend to my brother, Steve, and the whole family to be honest with you. Every weekend of my childhood was spent in the desert at the races. I have soooo many memories of these events there are not even enough words to describe. I would talk to Dave every day from school while he was relaxing on our couch watching "The Love Boat". Remember the old days of "Thick & Thin Racing"? Who was "Thick" & who was "Thin"? I could go on and on but won't. I know all who knew Dave feel the loss and know what a spectacular person he was. I will always have fond and special memories of Dave. He was such a huge part of our lives for so many years. I still on almost a daily basis wear the earings he gave me for my 16th birthday. Thank you, Dave, for the memories and Rest in Peace my friend!!!!
