In 1993, I rode the Sierra Safari put on by Dick Allen from June Mountain CA to Hawthorne NV and back, along with my son Beau, brother Billy, and several friends. Team Green was there along with Dave Chase heading up there support for everyone, no matter what you were ridding. Anyway about 10 miles from Hawthorn Beau seized his KX 80 Big Wheel, he was about 12 or 13 at the time, so I towed him to town. We thought Beaus ride was over, but Dave heard about it and said Kenny pull the motor out and bring it to me. So I did, and about an hour later Beau had a totally rebuilt motor. It turned out the lower rod bearing seized so Dave had to split the cases and go through everything in the engine & trans. I thought it was awesome not only for the speed at which he worked but also because he talked & laughed the whole time like he wasn\'t even doing anything!!!
